Passing east of Los Angeles Union Station, the through main line of the California High-Speed Monorail continues southeast in the I-5 freeway median 29 miles to the Orange County ARTIC station complex. The ARTIC station complex is the nexus of six high-speed, commuter express and local monorail routes and systems, as well as, the origin of the Orange County-Las Vegas High-Speed Monorail.
