LAX- West Los Angeles- Santa Clarita Commuter Express Monorail

Centered on its primary origin and destination in Los Angeles International Airport, the American Monorail-designed and proposed LAX- West Los Angeles- Santa Clarita Commuter Express Monorail is focused on a continuous 1.5-mile airport monorail station promenade serving all LAX terminals.

Seamlessly linked to a dual guide way monorail system extending from the airport’s Century Boulevard main entrance and hotel row, the monorail’s dual guide way extends eastward and into the northbound CA-405 Freeway median, to serve stations located across West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley along its 28-mile route to southern edge of Santa Clarita, where the guide way links with the American Monorail-designed and –proposed 20-mile, multiple dual guide way monorail loop serving the communities of greater Santa Clarita, Valencia and Castaic.

This plan includes a possible extension to the City of Palmdale, its airport, and the City of Lancaster.
