This 21.5-mile long commuter express monorail is generally located along the center median of the CA-57 Orange Freeway between the I-10 San Bernardino Freeway and the I-5 Santa Ana Freeway, with a small diversion in the vicinity of the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center near Katella Avenue and the Santa Ana River, and continuing southerly to the I-5 Santa Ana Freeway.

This monorail system serves the communities of Pomona, San Dimas, Walnut,
City of Industry, Brea, Placentia, Orange, Anaheim, and Santa Ana.
The ARTIC facility provides direct connections to Disneyland, The Block
Mall, Anaheim Stadium, Honda Center, and the cities of Corona and Riverside.
The connection to the California High-Speed Monorail provides connections
southerly to San Diego.
The ARTIC facility also provides transfers to the AMTRAK, METRO, and OCTA
rail systems and the various surface bus systems.
