Downtown Los Angeles Monorail

The 3.9-mile, single and dual guide way system connects the Los Angeles Convention Center, Staples Center, LA Live, Ritz Carlton-Marriot hotels, and future NFL stadium with planned Wilshire Grand hotel and office towers, the Bonaventure Hotel, LA Music Center, LA Civic Mall and City Hall before entering the MTA / Union Station complex.

This route is an American Monorail current initiative, driven in part by the proposed Downtown Los Angeles National Football League stadium. Read more.

    This monorail would be great for downtown. Instead of trying to find money to invest in a 19th century streetcar the powers that be should invest in a 21st century monorail.
